The project was developed on the demand of District Leprosy Officer from the Vadodara districts to integrate the various service and program performance indicators as developed by Dr. Harshit Sinha for his doctoral thesis “Factors in the distribution and control of the Leprosy in Vadodara district. The GIS based information of Leprosy was linked with subject scope of Medical Geography like disease distribution, disease diffusion, disease time line series, disease epidemiology, disease ecology, Geography of nutrition etc. This experiment was quite successful as multi indicators are analysed using conditional quarry mode. Nearly hundred maps were prepare at district and sub district level indicating the prevalence, incidence, MB/PB Case rates, deformity rates etc. Circulation: Restricted for developing such types of GIS based systems contact drharshitsinha@consultant.com
