Book – Leprosy in India

Could be considered as my first project as my Doctoral thesis work. Titled: Factors in the distribution and control of leprosy in Vadodara district: A study in Medical Geography. (Thesis Registered on 23/3/92; Thesis Submitted on 3/1/94; Viva voce held on 27/7/94 & Thesis awarded on 23/12/95: Selected for publication by ICSSR, New Delhi in 1998 and published by Rawat Publication in 2000) My research work was confined in urban and rural areas of Vadodara (Baroda) district of Gujarat. The present study on leprosy deals with aspects such as disease ecology, disease diffusion, disease mapping, and geographical aspect of nutritional, reviewing Leprosy MIS and health care facilities. Noordeen (Former head of Leprosy Division in WHO) at two days International workshop on Urban Leprosy held at IMA Hall in Baroda with the support of Govt. of Gujarat and  Government of India, and German Leprosy Relief Association – India.
