With a degree of MBBS, followed by Diploma in Public Health and PGC Health and Family Welfare, and having experience of over three decade, I Retired as Director, from the Commissionrate of Health Gandhinagar. During my tenure of working in Government of Gujarat, I had also worked at various capacity, viz., State Project Management Bureau, UNFPA assisted Integrated Population and Development Project, Officer on Special duty for IPPI (On Deputation), Additional District Health Officer G.H.S. Class – I, Surveillance Medical Officer, Additional District Health Officer G.H.S. Class – I, and as Associate professor in State Institute of Health & Family Welfare, Ahmedabad (Under Commissionerate of Health, Medical Services and Medical Education (Health Section) Government of Gujarat. I was even active after my retirement at Centre for Management of Health Services, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, WHO sponsored Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, GoG, Gandhinagar, OSD to Minister, Health & FW, GoG, Gandhinagar and Indian institute of Public Health Gandhinagar. I was also one of the key person in developing the (“Vardaan Foundation” and Vardaan Consultants”) earlier associate firm of drhs. I have also assisted in several health project sponsored by WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, European commission, Care India, etc.
