The  current field reports is part of the final reports in context to EIA/EMP study as per provision of EIA Notification, 2006 for any industrial expansion or establishment of new industries in notified/non-notified area. The report submitted to either State or Central MOFE along with State or Central Control Board.  Dr. Harshit Sinha as an approved FAE – SE (A Category) under QCI-NABET scheme with the accredited Environment Consultant Organization M/s Eco Chem Sales and Services Pvt. Ltd, Surat,  was hired to conduct demographic analysis of the region which also includes socio-economic status of the region for doing the baseline survey through both, primary and secondary data. Besides, with the advent of industries or any expansion of industries,   Social impact Assessment is done to know the high-risk behaviour of the nature of the industries in context to its raw material used or produced. It also looks the change made in the socio-economic condition of the resident population which includes, livelihood, employment, trade and commerce, existing of the different social groups and institutions, and the conflicts arising out in the region with the beginning of any industrial expansion or new set up. The industries in Surat, Ankleshwar and Bharuch region is largely based on synthetic man-made fibres, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Engineering, textile etc. in one and half year, with M/s Eco Chem Sales and Services Pvt.
